An excerpt from the 1943 biographical film "Madame Curie", based on the life of Polish physicist and chemist Marie Curie (1867-1934), a pioneer in the field of radioactivity. The MGM film was directed by Mervyn LeRoy and starred by Greer Garson, Walter Pidgeon, Henry Travers and Albert Bassermann. It was nominated for 7 Oscars.
