Lauryn Hill live hit killer - un massacre nice jazz festival
je suis allé au concert de lauryn hill au nice jazz festival (juillet 2007) et ma deception fut immense!Car sur scène est debarqué une intruse, une violation de la mémoire collective.On avait gardé en mémoire la magnifique voix de Lauryn sur "Doo-Wop", "Ex-Factor" ou "To Zion", on avait vibré face à l'émotivité et la fragilité de la jeune artiste et sa guitare mais tout ca est bien fini. Le choc est un peu rude. Sur une annonce surréaliste en anglais puis français, que l'on croirait tout droit sorti de Rocky IV ("Mesdames et messieurs, voici Miiiiss Lauryyyyn Hiiiiiiill !!"), déboule une allumée surexcitée, un mélange de Macy Gray et Yvette Horner en imperméable qu'elle ne quittera plus. Devenue excentrique, sa musique en a également pris un sacré coup. Lauryn Hill ne chante plus, elle rappe, elle gueule, elle jappe, elle ... en fait trop. Métamorphosée en toaster, rappeuse, celle qui se produit devant nous n'est plus celle qui pleurait sur sa guitare, celle dont la voix faisait trembler. Avec un orchestre rock a en crever les tympans, entendre "To Zion" ou "ex factor" se faire autant massacrer fait mal.tres mal.Une bonne partie des spectateurs déçus avaient meme quitté les jardins de cimier ou elle donnais le concert! Finalement, après plus d'une heure de set, il faut bien se rendre à l'évidence. Lauryn Hill n'est plus. MC Lauryn Hill est en revanche. Mais on se rend bien compte que la personne a totalement englouti l'artiste qu'était Lauryn Hill.Au final, Lauryn Hill n'a pas réussi à donner une seule bonne raison aux spectateurs locaux de demeurer ses fans...RIP Lauryn.
