Eric Clapton (1945), is a English blues-rock guitarist, songwriter, singer and composer. He is one of the most successful musicians and guitar players of all-time. Clapton's style has varied throughout his career, but it has always remained based on blues. In his phases we can find from blues-rock (with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers and The Yardbirds), to psychedelic rock ( Cream), also playing great musics from Delta blues (Me and Mr. Johnson) to reggae (Bob Marley's "I Shot the Sheriff") and pop ("Change the World"). Clapton was also very succesful with his group on 70´s Derek and the Dominos and his hit song "Layla".
